FKF has appointed Robert Muthomi as the Chief Executive Officer of the federation.
The federation has also appointed a new chief financial officer (CFO), Christine Ojode while Phoebe Amuyunzu has been poached from the Kenyan Premier League limited and competition secretariat into the same role with the federation.
Robert Muthomi who played the same role in Mwendwa’s campaign secretariat takes over from Michael Esakwa.
Christine Ojode previously worked under the Sam Nyamweya regime, but quit shortly citing work interference.
Ojode has a Masters in Finance, Degree in Accounting, CPAK and is a registered member of ICPAK.
Amuyunzu, the new leagues and competitions manager taking over from Samson Cherop will oversee the administration of the game liaising with all affiliated leagues and federation’s competitions.
In addition to her duties, she will serve as the FKF Transfer Management System (TMS) Manager to oversee the administration player’s registrations and transfers while processing of international transfers of professional players through FIFA’s TMS.
Also, the federation will within the next two weeks move away from the Nyayo Stadium offices to the Kasarani Goal Project premises constructed with the help of FIFA.
The FKF President Nick Mwendwa also said they will, in the next one month, search for a communications and public affairs officer.
“It reinforces our pledge to overhaul and reshape the administration of football in the country. Equally, it denotes that we will be an employer who embraces diversity and equal opportunity for all.” Mwendwa said as he announced the new appointments.
