Five dead in Kamwingi,Kericho county plane crash

A light Cessna plane crashed on Wednesday  morning in Makutano Forest in Londiani, Kericho County.

Reports indicate that the plane  had five people on board, four passengers all white and a local pilot.

Four foreigners and a Kenyan pilot lost their lives when the aircraft crashed in Makutano forest, Kericho county.

The five were traveling from Maasai Mara nature reserve to Lodwar when the aircraft developed technical problems mid air.

“There were five occupants in the plane and they did not survive,” said Rift valley police chief Edward Mwamburi

Confirming the incident, Kericho Police commander James Mugera said two of the passengers were American while two of the passenger’s nationalities were yet to be confirmed.
