Traders working along a section of the railway line in Githurai are living in fear over an impending demolition of their business premises.
This follows the expiry of a two week demolition notice issued by the Kenya Railways Corporation.
The traders say the notice expired on Monday and now they are living in fear not knowing when the Kenya Railways bulldozers will strike.
President Uhuru is expected to launch a newly constructed railway station in the area meant to easen transport.
Some traders however say they do not see how the new station will be of benefit to them.
