The family of the late rights activist Caroline Mwatha now say they will conduct an independent autopsy to determine what led to her death
Mwatha’s father Stanlus Mbai has maintained that his daughter was murdered because of her work terming the information provided about her death as ‘misleading’
“My daughter was killed fighting for the rights of the innocent in the society who did not have resources to fight for themselves and the information we are been given about her death is misleading as its not consistent from the time the report was made at the Kenyatta hospital police station” he said
Caroline Mwatha was an activist based in Dandora who disappeared last week after dropping her child at school .
Caroline’s body was found at the City Mortuary booked as Carol Mbeki.
Khalid Hussein from Haki Africa has said the activists are lobbying a private autopsy to find out what really killed Mwatha.
“We are also planning to hold peaceful demonstration to condemn the killing of Mwatha and also demand for justice. “said Khalid
