Embakasi Ranching Company appeals for calm amid complaints over land documents

Embakasi Ranching Company is on track in finalising ownership in processing of land documents in the area.

Vice Chairman Walter Kigera has confirmed that the company will issue the documents as promised to the land owners.

Kigera has urged people to come with original documents and letters of authorization.

Chief accountant Benjamin Kasipul, has also warned people against bringing banker’s cheques adding that if lost, they may be used to settle other payments.

Earlier today Ruai residents were planning a protest against a ranching company in Embakasi.

The residents claimed that the company has declined to give the land title deeds as promised to them when they were buying.

The residents had also been angered by government officials who were to resolve the issue.
