Embakasi OCS in trouble as court orders IPOA to investigate him
Embakasi OCS Moses Wanyama is in trouble, this is after Makadara a magistrate at the Makadara Law Courts directed Independent Policing Oversight Authority (IPOA) to investigate him for assault and issuing death threats.
The court wants Wanyama investigated after a suspect Jefferns Kitemi Kiema who was being held at the Embakasi Police Station was allegedly assaulted.
Kiema was reportedly assaulted by the OCS together with other police officers after he was arrested for defying curfew orders.
Kiema told the court that Wanyama with his juniors had further threatened to kill him and that he will not get justice anywhere.
IPOA is expected to give a report of its investigations against the OCS by 28th of September.
