Eight vehicles were on Thursday morning involved in an accident along the Thika Superhighway causing a major traffic snarl up.
The accident occurred after a Virginia Coach Bus veered off the road and hit a bus belonging to the Mwiki Sacco.
Other six vehicles including a Toyota Prado were in turn affected in the accident that happened following the morning rains.
No casualties were reported. The Toyota Prado however got ripped off on the frontal.
Nairobi Police Commander Philip Ndolo said poor visibility was the cause of the accident.
Motorists heading towards town were advised to use alternative routes.
