Residents of Nairobi’s Eastleigh estate today turned up in large numbers to donate blood in aid of victims of the Mogadishu bomb attack.
Ahmed Mohamed, a member of the Eastleigh Business Community called on all Kenyans to participate in the donations to assist the more than 300 people injured in the attack, in which left at least 276 people were killed.
Mohamed expressed gratitude to the overwhelming turnout in the blood donation exercise.
Mohamed says the exercise will be conducted tomorrow as well.
Some victims whose bodies had been positively identified were buried today.
