Residents of Dandora estate in Nairobi are calling on the government intervention to demolish a number of buildings they are terming as health hazard.

Margaret, a resident in Dandora area spoke exclusively to Ghetto Radio narrating how many buildings in the area are unfinished at the rooftop saying that children often slip and fall.

“Recently there was a group of kids playing at the rooftop of a building at Total when one of the children, a one year old slipped and fell. The baby was rushed to a clinic in the area then referred to Mama Lucy Hospital where the baby was pronounced dead on arrival.” She said

The area residents now want the unfinished buildings demolished or the owners ordered to seal off the roof top area.
