East Africa Breweries has promised to create more jobs by launching more water projects across the country.
This as the world marked the World Water Day on Teusday. This year’s theme being “Water and Jobs.”
EABL Cooperate Relations Director Eric Kiniti says the organization has already opened up more that 70 water projects in East Africa, reaching over 5 million households and are being managed women.
“All water projects we have opened across East Africa are being managed by the women because they are the people who walk long distances to fetch water but we are currently looking for a possibility of incooperating the youth in the management of the water projects,” said Kiniti.
This is in line with this year’s World Water Day theme dubbed Water and Jobs.
The organization yesterday opened a new project in Murang’a County .
