Doctors in Kenya’s public hospitals have ended their strike that had paralysed services for over 100 days.

This follows the signing of a return-to-work between the doctors’ union, governors and the Ministry of health.

KMPDU Secretary General Ouma Oluga who called off the strike descibed the process as difficult but called for the separation of doctors rights and patients rights.

Ministry of Health CS Dr Cleopa Mailu also apologised to Kenyans over the long strike asking doctors and other leaders to be fair and objective in their decisions.
