Diamond Platnumz’s New Hit Song Plagued With Accusations Of Stealing
Bongo Super Star Diamond Platnumz is facing heat for reportedly stealing yet another song just a few days after his hit song with baby mama Tanasha Donna was plagued with claims of plagiarism.
Diamond’s newly released song Jeje reportedly has a mix of Nigerian Musician Wizkid’s hit song Joro.
‘Jeje’ is seemingly a copy and paste job from Nigerian Wizkid’s 2019 hit ‘Joro’ as they both sound the same. It is clear that the Bongo star was going for a similar vibe with his new track, he generously borrowed ideas from ‘Joro’ downright to the dancing and visuals,” said one fan.
Another fan however came to the defense of Diamond stating that the beats of the song Jeje and Joro might sound the same because they were produced by the same producer.
The fan further went on and stated that the two songs Jeje and Joro also sound familiar with Burna Boy’s song Gbona which was also produced by Kel-P who is a Nigerian Prodcer.
“Crazy how some people in the comment trying to say this is wizkid’s joro beat. Note that this is the same producer for JEJE AND JORO and that’s his style of beats ( kelp vibez beats identity). So if that’s the case then y’all can say all the reggae artists copy from each other cause as soon as you hear a reggae song the first thing you notice is the beat. It’s that reggae beat identity . And this is kelp vibez beats identity . He has produced for Burna and Wizkid and you will hear similarities from the beats . Y’all better save up your words for something else! PERIOD !” he stated.
But as people continue to argue over the originality of the song, some fans commended Diamond’s good work and the video vixen’s artistic work.
