Former Kenyan international Denis Oliech made a comeback to the Kenyan Premier league for the first time in 10 years.
Oliech featured for 15 minutes in a match staged at Kasarani Stadium for Gor Mahia against Mathare United that ended in a 1-1 draw.
Both teams scored from the spot. Jacques Tuyisenge scored for Gor Mahia before Kevin Kimani equalised.
Oliech, made his debut for the defending league champions after penning a two year deal earlier in the week.
The deal is said to be worth Sh3.5 million-the highest in the local premier league
He makes a comeback to Kenya’s football after failing to clinch a deal with Free State Stars in South Africa.
Elsewhere Ulinzi Stars played to a barren draw with Zoo FC while AFC Leopards played to a 1-1 draw with Nzoia Sugar at Kenyatta Stadium, Machakos.
Bandari FC returned to winning ways with a 2 – 1 victory over Sony Sugar in a match played in Machakos.
Vihiga United came from a goal down to draw with Mount Kenya United at Bukhungu Stadium
