Deadlock as Daystar University strike enters week three

The students strike at Daystar university has now reached the third week following a disagreement between the school vice chancellor and the students.

Speaking to ghetto radio Anthony Maki a one of the student leaders has said the school council boycotted a meeting that was supposed to discuss on the issues in the school

Maki said the agenda of the meeting was to discuss the conduct of the Vice chancellor who the students say is mismanaging the institution.

The school heads of both the valley road and Athi river campus have today gone to meet the education CS to discus on the academic situation in the institution.

Maki has said learning will not resume until the education ministry addresses the issue of the Vice Chancellor .
