CS Amina tours Kibera schools as candidates prepare for K.C.P.E

Education Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohamed today toured schools in Kibera slums ahead of the Rehearsals of the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) examinations set to start tomorrow.

Mohamed visited Olympic Primary that has 626 candidates but will host an additional 111 candidates from other schools to bring the number to 737 students.

Other schools that the CS visited include Joseph Kang’ethe that will host a total of 204 candidates including candidates from Makina Self, Makina Baptist, and Friends Ngina Primary School.

During the tour, the CS wished the candidates well stating that nop one will be left behind as they prepare for their exams.

1,060,759 candidates are expected to sit the examinations.
