Director of Public Prosecutions Noordin Haji has ordered an investigations into circumstances that led to the disappearance of an original report by the Energy Regulatory Commission on the purchase of faulty Kenya Power transformers.

Prosecutor Alexander Muteti told the court today that the report went missing even as the hearing of the case against former Kenya Power bosses started.

The documents were allegedly under the custody of the Kenya Power Company.

Prosecutor Muteti had requested that the hearing be adjourned as the prosecution carries investigations to establish how the files went missing.
