COVID-19 cases in Kenya shoot to 343 after Seven test Positive
Kenya has recorded seven new cases of the novel COVID-19, President Uhuru Kenyatta has announced. The total number of cases in the country are currently at 343
Speaking during a briefing at State House, the president also announced that there are no reported deaths from the disease and the number remains at 14.
The president also announced that there are three more recoveries, bringing the total number of recoveries to 98.
“We extended our appreciation to the health and security personnel standing at the forefront of the war against the coronavirus pandemic. While we mourn the 14 who have succumbed, we celebrate the 98 recoveries we have seen so far,” he said.
The President warned that the government will not delay in escalating the measures put in place if the need arises.
