Nairobi County Assembly Speaker Beatrice Elachi has obtained conservatory order blocking her removal from office pending the hearing and determination of her petition.

Elachi filed a motion certified as urgent at the Employment and Labour Relations Court after MCAs voted to remeoved her from office on Thursday evening.
