Huruma residents are blaming a corrupt county government for the rampant collapse of buildings.
The residents say many county inspectorates are receiving bribes from sloppy contractors hence paving way for substandard buildings that have ended up collapsing.
The residents claim some officers have even received money and asked landlords to repaint those that have been earmarked for demolitions.
More than four buildings have collapsed in Huruma area since January 2015 killing close to 100 people.
An audit by the National Constructions Authority last year stated that Huruma alone has 57 unsafe buildings and only two were demolished last year by the county government.
The building that collapsed on Saturday killed three people including a pregnant woman.
