Comedian Eric Omondi is seeking Kenyan’s support to help him raise cash for his wedding.
The comedian says the reason he has not tied the knot with his Italian fiance is because of funds.
Speaking to a local media house, Omondi said he needs cash 80 million for the entire wedding to happen because it’s an international affair.
“My wedding is not a personal affair, it’s an international affair. Kenya is marrying Italy and it’s [Italy] coming to Kenya with all the benefits we need. Our wedding hasn’t happened yet because i’m waiting for you [kenyans] to help me fundraise. I need sh80 million; for the dowry payment, pre-wedding and main wedding. Soon, i will share m-pesa number so people can contribute something.” he said
Of course being a luopean, Omondi says his wedding will be a big affair that will see him hire a private jet to ferry some of his high ranking guests and his bride.
“ I’ll go for the ceremony accompanied by 15 people, among them hon Babu Owino, governor Sonko, and hon Jaguar. I will have to hire a private jet.” he added
Eric and Chantal have been engaged for the last two years and Kenyans have been putting pressure on the couple to walk down the isle.
