Collapsed Tassia Building Sends Shock waves To Tenants In Embakasi
Tenants living in buildings next to the collapsed Tassia building have started to move out for fear of falling victims of the same fate.
The residents who spoke to Ghetto Radio News say that they have been unable to spend the night in their houses over fear that their building might also collapse.
“Our children are living in fear, they cannot even stay in the house, they are affected by everything that is going on” stated one woman.
Some residents have however decided to stay put in their houses until a formal vacation notice is given.
The tenants further claim that they do not have enough money to move out hence their decision to stay.
The death toll into the building that collapsed on Monday reached 10 with more than 30 people rescued.
