COFEK faults ministry’ high spending in securing KCPE

Consumer Federation of Kenya has faulted the government’s expenditure on the on the KCPE examinations that have come to an end today.

COFEK Secretary General Stephen Mutoro says the 5 Billion shillings used by the government to secure and supervise KCPE exams should have been channelled on other education matters.

Speaking at a media briefing, Mutoro says despite the high expenditure, it is not clear whether the exams were stolen or not.

Mutoro further urged Education Cabinet Secretary to look into the matter.
