Nairobi city county  government has issued a stern warning against  noise pollution  to the city’s clubs and churches.

In an interview with Ghetto Radio  News County Noise director  Lawrence Mwangi Mukuru says they have mobilized  enough  officers  to ensure  that the directive is adhered to.

‘’We want to ask  club owners and even the Dee Jays  performing in clubs to be cautious and maintain low level of noise because we shall not spare anyone in our operations.’’ Mwangi said.

Notorious clubs marked are Geo Club, Sabina Joy and Sizzling clubs within central business district.

According to Mwangi the multi-agency operation comprising of NEMA officials, National Police Service and The County Askaris will kick off on Thursday night  and it will be a joint operation led by multi-agency team.

The team will also be targeting Keshas held in churches.

Mwangi says they  have received numerous complaints in the past about noise pollution by churches.

‘’I want to urge   church leaders to take responsibility and regulate noises during their worship time failure to which we will  take action against errant  members.’’ He stated.
