UEFA Champions League defending champions Real Madrid will take on Germany heavyweights Bayern Munich in the much anticipated quarter finals following the Friday’s evening draw.
Bayern Munich edged English side Arsenal by an aggregate of 10-2 to advance to the quarter’s while the Spanish giants won 6-2 aggregate against Napoli. The fixture brings together two European power houses in a do or dies encounter that will hold on either 11th or 12th later in April.
In other fixtures, English Champions Leicester City has been drawn against Spanish side Atletico Madrid in their maiden Champions League quarter-final. The Foxes stunned Sevilla 2-0 at home to advance to their first ever Champions League quarter finals becoming the only English side left in the European competitions.
Leicester will play the first leg against last year’s beaten finalists away from home on 11 or 12 April, with the return leg on 18 or 19 April.
Juventus will have a date with Barcelona as Borusia Dortmund will square it out with League 1 leaders Monaco who knocked out Manchester City to progress to the last eight stages.
