Harambee Stars kicked-off their Campaign on a high in the Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup beating Rwanda 2-0 at the newly refurbished Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega.

Massoud penalty and Otieno’s screamer were enough to help the stars to a perfect win as Tanzania and Libya draw in Machakos.

Stars new Coach Paul Put made a winning start to his reign as Kenya’s football team coach over ten-man Rwanda.

At Kenyatta Stadium, Machakos, Tanzania and Libya settled for a goalless draw in the second match of Group.

former Kenya coach Antoine Hey, whose visiting Amavubi side finished the game a man less after Soter Kayumba was sent off in the 53rd minute after receiving a second yellow card for bad-mouthing the assistant referee.
