Three suspected burglars linked to about 20 robberies in Nairobi’s Kilimani and Kileleshwa areas were arrested in Westlands on Monday.
Emmah Wanjiru, Elizabeth Abuto and Wilson Giyabe were tracked to the area and will be arraigned at Kibera law courts on Tuesday, police said.
Police said the gang has broken into the houses since Friday, after colluding with guards and caretakers.
They said the suspects targeted the homes of residents who were out of town for the Easter holiday.
Officers said investigations showed Giyabe had been in charge of finding markets for stolen goods in Tanzania.
They said they recovered keys and weapons used to break into houses from which cash and items including electronics were stolen.
