Five students from St Mary’s Kibabii Boys Bungoma arrested at night in a dormitory of the neighbouring Cardinal Otunga Girls High School.

The boys were found in the latrine at Cardinal Otunga Girls Secondary school.

Confirming the incident, Bungoma OCPD Francis Sang said the students had crossed into the neighbouring school as the girls protested over their new school principal at around 11pm.

Mr. Sang said the boys were nabbed by police officers who had been deployed to restore calm at Cardinal Otunga Girls school.

They were taken to Bungoma Police Station as investigations continue to establish the motive behind their move to sneak into the school.
