Gospel singer Ben Cyco is appealing for public help to raise funds for his kid sister’s treatment.
In a social media message, the singer’s family is appealing for help to raise ksh11.5 million.
Ben’s younger sister Joy, was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia or blood cancer after ailing since last year.
The family says the money will cater for her chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant should the doctors in India recommend it.
“The results came in and the doctors confirmed that it was Acute Myeloid Leukemia (simply put, blood cancer) and she would need to go to India for Chemotherapy and ultimately a Bone Marrow Transplant. We are planning to go to India for treatment. The cost of treatment is estimated to be Ksh 11.5M should the doctors there confirm that she needs a bone marrow transplant. Ben Cyco’s sister, developed health complications last year and was diagnosed with low blood count up until the symptoms persisted.
