Her name is Lebogang Motsumi. She is 27 years old and a citizen of South Africa.Motsumi is not only beautiful, bold, curvy, elegant…name it, but sadly HIV/AIDS positive.
A few months ago, Motsumi was just an ordinary HIV positive lady trying to create awareness about HIV/AIDS stigmatization in her local country.
It is during the 21st International AIDS Conference held in Durban,South Africa from 18th-22nd July 2016 that Motsumi publicly announced her HIV status attracting not only the conference’ attendees attention but globally.
Lebogang narrated of how she contracted the deadly virus 7 years ago from her Blesser ( sponsor).
“It was on August 15, 2009, at 1:00pm. I was so ignorant. I thought HIV had a face, thin, poor and dying and I wasn’t that face.” Motsumi recounted.
Motsumi’s natural curves would drive any sober man nuts. However, this beau chose coming out of her closet ,up against the stigma and discrimination HIV positive victims go through. She has also chose to live her life to fight Blessers in South Africa a country where 2000 women between the age of 15-24 contract HIV/AIDS every week.
