BBI Report To Be Handed To The President Next Week Tuesday
The Building Bridges Initiative task force will officially hand over the BBI report on 26th November to President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Speaking during a presser at Intercontinental Hotel, the task-force Chair Yusuf Haji was on record that they have already secured an appointment with the office of the president on Tuesday.
“It is now our privilege to inform the public that an appointment to hand the report to his Excellency the President has been arranged for Tuesday 26th November,” said Haji.
The task force was formed on 9th March last year after Uhuru and Raila shook hands with a view of ending hostility among Kenyans.
The sittings which saw Human Rights activists, law makers, religious leaders and common wananchi give their views were completed on 23rd October
The task force Chair, Haji has also dismissed the reports that have been circulating on social media claiming to be from the task force.
“These misrepresentations are designed to sow confusion and division among Kenyans at a time when there is a strong national consensus on the need for cohesion, honesty and the ambition to change our country for the better,” Haji said.
