Embakasi MP Babu Owino has been ranting for three days now after a new report ranking Members of Parliament ranked him as the last performing MP.

The research conducted by an organization called Mizani Africa was released on Tuesday and placed Owino as number 290 out of 290.

The research which has caused an uproar from different quarters has had the embattled MP rant on his Facebook Page for three days now trying to prove to his followers that Mizani Africa was wrong.

Babu started on Tuesday by sharing a summarised copy of the performance of the MPs stamped with a FAKE and IGNORE tags.

He then followed it up with a screenshot of flamboyant lawyer Donald Kipkorir who questioned the legality of Mizani Africa stating how it only has two employees and is a company that deals with cryptocurrency and not research.

“EMBAKASI EAST RESIDENTS KNOW WHO THEIR MP IS! My attention is drawn to some online propaganda designed to malign the good work of the NG-CDF of Embakasi East constituency. Since I came to office, the constituency committee has managed to achieve great milestones in the construction and renovation of classrooms, tarmacking and grading of roads, democratization of bursaries, jobs for our youth and so much more.

We will continue to serve our voters ruthlessly and will not be distracted by attention seekers looking to be paid for favorable rankings,” further wrote the Babu.

Up to Thursday evening, Babu Owino kept sharing posts of his work in Embakasi and also those that continued to question the rankings.

Reports also have it that Ndindi Nyoro’s wife is a Managing Director of the Organization.

Nyoro was apparently ranked as number one performing MP.

Babu’s rants however seemed to get some backing after ODM Chairman John Mbadi asked Kenyans to dismiss the report and also condemned the two MPs who rushed to Party leader Raila Odinga and took photos with him with the awards.

The National Assembly yesterday ordered an investigation into the organization
