Arsenal legend to grace Sportpesa coaches training camp

sportpesa_arsenal_9SportPesa in conjuction with our EPL partner Arsenal will be conducting its second  training camp for 50 Kenyan coaches from December 5th to 9th at the Kenya School of Monetary Studies, Thika Road, Nairobi.

The training will be done by Arsenal Coaches; James Colinese (lead coach), Drew Tyler and John Georgiou.

In attendance will be Tatiana Elaguila, Arsenal’s Partnership Executive. This will be an inaugural trip to Kenya for James and John while it will be the second visit to the country for Drew.

It will be remembered that the first training camp of this kind was held in May from the 23rd to the 28th 2016.

The opening ceremony will be on Monday 5th at 8 a.m and the closing ceremony will be on Friday 9th in the afternoon at KSMS.

The training team will be joined on Friday by Arsenal legend ‘Lauren’ (Laurean Bisan Etamé-Mayer) who played  for Arsenal between 2000-2007 and was a key member of the ‘Invincibles’ team who won the Premier League with 49 games unbeaten in 2003/4

There is also an ongoing Arsenal Kenya Supporters Club banner competition which kicks off on November 25th and will end on 2nd of December 2016.

Only official members of the supporters club may enter the competition where the fans are required to design a creative banner to be hung at the Emirates Stadium.

The winning entry will be chosen by the Legend Lauren during a live screening of the Arsenal vs Stoke game on December 10th and will win Arsenal merchandise and opportunity to take a photo with the legend.
