Another Ksh. 1 Million Of Stolen Ksh. 72 Million Recovered From A Cow Shed
Police have recovered Ksh. 1 Million shillings believed to be part of the Ksh 72 Million stolen from the Nairobi West ATM heist.
Suspect Benard Sewanga an employee of G4S Security firm who had gone into hiding was also arrested.
Detectives working on the case recovered the money in a black bag buried in a cow shed in Lurambi constituency.
Police say the suspect led the police to his father in law’s cow shed in Kakamega county after he was arrested in a newly rented house in Ruiru
“It is after the suspect was arrested-in a newly rented Hse-in Ruiru that he led. Detectives to Lurambi, Kakamega in the Homestead of his Father-in-law where the Cash was found hidden in a black bag and buried in the cow shade. Investigations into the Heist continues,” said the police.
Sewanga’s arrest brings to five the number of suspects arrested in the robbery that saw persons disguised as police make away with the money.
