K’Ogalo shy ahead of Esperance clash

Recent remarks by Gor Mahia coach Dylan Kerr have put to doubt their ability to win against ES Tunis.

Last week, coach Kerr was urging the Kenya Premier League to relax its schedule, to allow K’Ogalo players more recovery time. The tactician accused the KPL of “punitive scheduling.”

K’Ogalo are expected to face Esperance later today in Machakos. Gor Mahia go into this match, with a 26 game unbeaten streak. However, it will be no mean feat since Esperance are ranked an impressive second in the club competition.

These remarks have not done much to improve Kenyan fans confidence and many fear that Gor may draw or lose against Esperance.

However, others, nostalgic with Gor Mahia’s epic victory in the 1987 Africa Cup victory, are hopeful of a win.

Gor Mahia are assured of home support after Nairobi Governor, Mike Sonko donated buses to enable supporters travel to Machakos.
