The win for the Kayole outfit brings them two points shy of leaders All Stars at 40 points while Diguna remain 8th with 28 points.
MASA 0-3 KABETE UNITED
Kabete United move two spots up in the league table standings after punishing MASA 3-0 at home at the same venue. The West conference side now sits at 10th with 24 points thanks to second half goals from Joseph Maina (49’) Antony Kimani (60’) and Isaiah Wakhasala (92’).
The loss for MASA means they remain 6th with 28 points.
TUK 1-3 JERICHO ALL STARS
East conference bigwigs Jericho All Stars survived a scare as they came from a goal down to register a convincing 3-1 victory over TUK. Stephen Odhiambo fired the university students in front 3 minutes after kick-off with West siders bossing the first half as the table toppers struggled to find their footing.
Second half substitute Tom Okoth came off the bench to level the proceedings in the 72nd minute before Victor Walera added the second and third goals in the 83rd and 91st minute respectively sending the packed stadium to a thunderous celebration.
With the three points, the Thomas Okong’o men extend their stay at the summit of the SPS8 chart with 42 points while TUK sit 3rd with 34 points.
