Victims of the collapsed Huruma building now want the government to investigate an incident where unknown people stole food stuffs and other donations from the Huruma makeshift camp.
The victims claim last night an unknown vehicle was seen transporting food stuffs that had been donated by the Kenyatta University students and other well wishers.
Speaking to Ghetto Radio News the victims are pointing an accusing finger at the area chief saying she could be responsible for the theft.
“We woke up to an empty store and word has that our chief might be involved in the theft,!!” they explained.
“We want the police to investigate all this because word has it that even money that was kept in a safe at the Huruma Police Station is also gone. Over 600,000 gones!!! Can you imagine,” they said.
Meanwhile Eston Kiayi Huruma Ward Administrator however says that the theft was conducted by a group of youths from the area.
