Human Rights Activists in Kiamaiko are appealing for justice over an alleged murder of a young boy by police in Kiamaiko.
Amina Mohamed a rights activist in Kiamaiko claims that an officer only known to them as Guyo allegedly killed a boy last week during a religious clash between Muslims and Christians in the area.
Mohamed says the officer shot the boy despite him not being part of the clashes that happened in the area more than a week ago.
Mohamed says another boy suffered bullet injuries and was admitted at the Kenyatta National Hospital. He has however been discharged.
The religious clashes that happened in Kiamaiko saw Muslims and Christians fight with several churches being destroyed.
More that 200 people were arrested in the chaos and arraigned at the Makadara Law Courts.
Forty people have however been released after paying their bonds. Some who have not been released are those without papers.
