Controversial musician Akothee on Wednesday caused a stir in parliament after she visited the premises in a micro mini skirt contrary to the rules.
Akothee’s appearance at the house saw parliament security officers freeze her briefly at the gate over her dress-code.
The freeze saw the outspoken musician cause a stir that lasted for about five minutes.
Parliament security officers however handed her a leso to cover herself before allowing her into the premises.
The musician had visited parliament to invite them to the launch of her foundation that has a project in Turkana.
Akothee however defended her dress-code saying that her legs were longer than the skirt.
“It’s my legs that are longer than the skirt, trust me its not me 🙆♀️ , I thought I was officially dressed until I was lessod,” she said.
Nominated MP David Ole Sankok who received Akothee at the gate however defended her saying he did not have any problem with her dresscode.
