Media personality Adelle Onyango on Wednesday December 6th met with the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton at the Children’s Global Media Summit held in Manchester United Kingdom.
Adelle was among the a number of delegates that were handpicked by Prince William and Kate for the meeting.
Adelle later took to social media to reveal details of their meeting saying how they had agreed to address issues of cyber bullying jointly.
The two discussed cultural differences between Kenya and the UK as well as effects of cyber bullying on internet users.
Adelle Onyango hit the international headlines when she began a campaign against rape and online harassment. This got her a recognition by BBC when she was listed in this year’s BBC top 100 influential women.
The Children’s Global Media Summit, formally known as World Summit on Media for Children, begun on Tuesday 5th December and was founded in 1995.The summit is held every three years in different parts of the world.
