Activists protest the brutal murder of Sharon Otieno

A group of Activists have taken to the streets to protest the gruesome murder of Rongo University student Sharon Otieno.

The group attacked different politicians saying they should stop the killings.

The activists who carried placards written, “Niko na wewe” also asked the government to intervene in the matter.

“Wametuzoea, wametuzoea…{nani} wanasiasa wametuzoea,….wameuwa Sharon..wameuwa Sharon..,” they sang

“…Obado must go! Obado must go!..huyo huyo…” they went on

Migori governor Okoth Obado has today been questioned by Nyanza regional DCI officers over the murder. He arrived at the DCI offices on Tuesday morning.

The homicide team that was dispatched to Migori and Homa Bay has so far recorded statements from seven people, including her parents and friends.
