Seventy two youths have graduated as peace ambassadors in Nairobi today.
This is, after undergoing a four week training sponsored by the Directorate of National Cohesion in conjunction with the Kenya National Congress of Pentecost churches and ministries.
The graduates majorly from Kibera, Huruma, Mathare and Kahawa areas are supposed to preach peace in the their respective communities to ensure a peaceful in the general elections.
Kenya Congress of Pentecostal churches and ministries Dr.Bishop Stanley Michuki urged the graduates tohave politicians sign peace MoUs in areas considered hot spots .
He also urged the youths ,the disabled and women to form groups and saccos and apply for money from the government which is available to the willing ones.
Other region where there were similar training was in Kakamega where 328 people participated in the training.
