National Police Service Commission has sacked over 302 police officers for refusing to appear before the vetting board.
NPSC chairman Johnston Kavuludi says he has already dispatched the letters to the Inspector General Of Police Joseph Boinnet for action.
Kavuludi says the 302 officers refused to hand over their credentials and documents.
He says the officers, who rank from chief inspectors to police inspectors, were asked to surrender possessions such as guns to those in charge.
The commission said it will continue vetting police officers from the traffic department.
