Three hundred Nairobi boda boda operators,matatu and hawkers are now set to leave for Rwanda capital city Kigali next month for a bench marking mission as announced last month by governor Mike Sonkos’ administration.
The 300 people will leave on the 23rd of next month.
Addressing the selected team former mayor Joe Akech who is steering the same says they are through with their selection and that logistics and arrangements are underway.
The group is expected to go and learn how to mainatin order in the city and in turn reciprocate the same in Nairobi.
Meanwhile the Matatu Owners Association through its chairman Dickson Mbugua believes that the team will also come up with possibile solution of restoring order in the central business district without necesarily removing matatus.
Kigali is is the most orderly city in east and central Africa.
