Two staunch supporters of Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko died on Wednesday after being crashed at Muthurwa’s footbridge.
The supporters were among tens of others who were pursuing Sonko from Jubilee headquarters to the town centre in a lorry.
It is reported that they were standing in the moving canter when they went under the bridge and crushed their heads in the process.
This comes a month after another supporter of the senator died while six others were injured when their motorbikes were involved in an accident along the northern bypass in Nairobi.
It is alleged Sonko had been meeting his supports at a restaurant within Uhuru Gardens when his motorcade left headed for Mombasa road with dozens of motorbikes in pursuit.
