Activist Boniface Mwangi has launched the party with which he will use to vie for the Starehe Constituency Parliamentary seat during the August 8th Polls.

During the launch, Mwangi promised to use his seat to fight to ensure the voices of the common mwananchi are heard in parliament.

The party’s slogan is ‘Nguvu kwa mwananchi’ which means ‘power to the people’.

“[Ukweli] will ensure people’s voices are echoed in spaces where they have been ignored for too long,” he said at the party’s Kenya House office in Nairobi.

“We want a Kenya that’s free of corruption…where the corrupt belong behind bars. [We will] eventually ensure that the people who want change are bold enough to take part in creating it.”
