Kenya’s boy band Sauti Sol is not a happy group following the launch of studio mashinani project by Statehouse.

Sauti Sol says they helped plan and bring to action the Studio Mashinani project which was launched by Jamaican Artiste Luciano.

In a post on Instagram, Sauti Sol’s Bien Baraza says they met with the president back in 2015 to discuss initiatives of youth empowerment and that is how the project which was to include building of music studios, community radio stations, ICT centres and libraries came to be..

Bien says Sauti Sol teamed up with Raphael Obonyo and Cedric Kadenyi to ensure proper planning of the project.

He says he is disappointed by the fact that the project is being launched by a Jamaican artiste and not even a Kenyan.

Bien says he will share more evidence of his allegations soon.
