Two people died while four others sustained serious injuries after trucks collided at Migaa area, Salgaa on the Nakuru-Eldoret highway.
Those injured in Wednesday’s 11pm accident were rushed to Nakuru Level Five hospital.
Area Police boss Joseph Mwamburi said the accident involved three trucks.
He said that breaks of one of the trucks, which was transporting water from Kitale, failed and rammed the other two – resulting to the deaths.
The bodies were moved to the Nakuru county mortuary for postmortem while the wrecked lorries were taken to Salgaa police station.
