14 students arrested in Dandora with drugs

Fourteen students were today morning arrested in Dandora Phase 3 with drugs and alcohol.

The police were tipped off by a resident about the students who were in a room engaging in drug and alcohol abuse.

The police found alcohol, Bhang, knives, money and smartphones.

The students arrested consisted of 8 boys and 6 girls from various schools in Dandora.

Njiru Sub County Assistant County Commissioner Jane Warionge says upon interrogation, the students claimed they were preparing for an upcoming School Talent Show.

Jane says that the students will be held at the camp to allow room for more investigations  before they are taken to the police station for further interrogation.

They are currently being held at the Dandora Administration police camp.
