Kenya Premier League Champions Gor Mahia have won their first trophy this season beating Bandari Fc 1-0 in a match played at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos County.
Lawrence Juma Shot in the 64th minute propelled new K’Ogalo head coach Steven Polack to his first trophy since joining the team replacing Hassan Oktay who left the team two weeks ago.
Gor were reduced to ten men in the 78th minute after Otieno was sent off for a second bookable offence.
Despite the numerical disadvantage, Gor held on till the final whistle to reclaim the cup.
Both teams are set to play their return leg match in Caf Champions League where Kogalo are set to face Burundian Side Aigle Noir while the Dockers are set to face off with Sudanese side Al Ahyly Shendi.
