True Blood actress Kristin Bauer Van Straten who plays Pam in the Vampire series is in Kenya. The actress was at the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage in Nairobi visiting the cute calves.
She is a celebrity patron of the International Fund for Animal Welfare, and is in Kenya to make a documentary with her husband, South African musician Abri Van Straten, that will highlight the threat to elephants and rhinos.
She is reported to spend four weeks filming the documentary about the effort to stop elephant ivory and rhino horn poaching.
